How to make a Rainbow Loom Starburst Bracelet
How to make a Rainbow Loom Starburst Bracelet
(Please note: This is NOT my original design. I found this on YouTube, and Rainbow Loom invented it.)
I suggest rainbow loom products. All of the supplies I'm using are rainbow loom products, except the hook.
You will need: 41 white rubber bands, 18 blue rubber bands, 18 pink rubber bands, a hook, a loom, and a C-clip.
First, you need to put your loom in this formation, with the red arrow pointing away from you.
Next, take a single white rubber band, and hook it from peg one to peg two.
Now, continue down the side of the loom, and repeat this on the other side. At the end, don't forget to move inwards towards the last middle peg. This is what your loom should look like:
Now we are ready to place the starbands. these are the bands that form the star shapes on the bracelet.
First, choose one color and make a shape like shown below. Put them on in the order starting at one, then two, and so on. Move from the middle out to the number. Start at the top of your loom, and work your way down, continuing this pattern. You can place the colors on however you like, but I like to alternate.
Once this is finished, it is time to begin placing the cap bands. these are the bands that hold the bracelet together. first, take a white band. place it on your index and middle fingers. then, carefully remove it from one side, twist it, and slide it back on your finger, forming a figure eight. then, remove it from your middle finger, and slip it over two your index finger, forming a double-layered band. grab it with both fingers, and slide it onto one of the shown pegs (at bottom). repeat this process until you have covered all the shown pegs.
Now you should have something like this.
Once this is finished, your room should look like this.
Now, we hook the outer bands. Go to the bottom of the loom, and reach under the cap band, grabbing the first band. If you followed what I said exactly, it should hook to the left. Go under all of the bands on the next peg, and pick up the last one, hooking it up. continue doing this until you reach the end of the loom. Repeat it on the other side. your loom should now look like this.
Now, slide your hook under all the bands on the last pin, and taking a white rubber band, grab it with your holding it with one finger and pull it through. continue this process on your hook, using up the remainder of your bands. Grab a band with your hook, pull it through the others, the drop the others and put the other side of the band on your hook.

Guinea Pig Facts
Which guinea pig is right for you: A rex/teddy is a domestic shorthair.
You may have to brush it, but that’s fine. They are also very good with kids.
This was the right one for me, but here is the link to an online test that
shows you what type you want: http://www.youthink.com/quiz.cfm?action=go_detail&sub_action=take&obj_id=211070
Guinea pig’s
home: Fleece is the
comfiest guinea pig bedding. You lay down about three pieces of cardboard, and
a folded piece of fleece on top. DO NOT
give your guinea pig woodchip bedding. There are chemicals in the wood that
could make them sick or even kill them. http://www.amazon.com/Kritter-Krawler-Exercise-10-Inch-Colored/dp/B0002A5ZFS/ref=sr_1_4?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1410270070&sr=1-4&keywords=guinea+pig+ball
is a ball that guinea pigs can roam around the house in. http://www.amazon.com/Ware-Manufacturing-24-Inch-Plastic-Medium/dp/B003TKRYIO/ref=sr_1_1?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1410132071&sr=1-1&keywords=small+guinea+pig+cage
is an awesome sized cage for a
guinea pig.
Guinea pig
toys and supplies:
Guinea pigs need hidey houses. This makes them feel safe and secure when they
are scared. They also need toys to play with. Little balls of yarn and jingle
bells tied together make great toys. They eat carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, and
lettuce. There are also special pellets they make for guinea pigs. As a treat I
might suggest cucumbers and carrots especially.
Can I get
just one guinea pig: You
can as long as you spend 2 hours of one on one time with it. They love to feel
your heart beat. You can hold it while you watch TV or set it in your lap while
you’re on the computer. Be careful, though, because guinea pigs are extremely
fragile and you can break their bones easily
How long can
you leave your guinea pig alone: You cannot leave your guinea pig alone for more than two
days. You can only leave it alone two days if it has enough water, enough food,
and has never had escaping problems. Sometimes a guinea pig will knock over its
food and the water bottles don’t always work properly, so you should probably
leave it two bowls of food and two bottles of water. If you are leaving longer
than two days, give it to someone you trust, and show them how to properly take
care of it.
How to bathe your guinea pig: You want to use baby shampoo to
bathe your guinea pig so it doesn’t burn your guinea pigs eyes. Put the baby
shampoo all along your guinea pigs back and the sides and the middle as well. Rub
your hands on its skin, checking for anything unusual. Try not to get to much
soap in your guinea pigs ears. Massage the feet and wash it under the armpit
and the belly.

My BFF Sabrina, who lives across the street, told us a funny joke: While God was creating the animals, Gabriel kept asking if he could make an animal. God gave him some parts and said: "Knock yourself out!" Gabriel took the parts, and a few hours later, brought a platypus to God. He said: "Can we keep it?! Can we keep it?!" God said: "You know what? Just put in Australia with all the others."

Welcome to my Blog
Hey! I'm Hannah! I just started this blog, so it might not be the best. I am going to put up some awesome pictures later today. I just found out that my camera can take timed pictures, so I made some to look like I'm flying. I am 10 yrs old, and would LOVE it if you would post a comment. You don't have to if you think this is boring, though. I love writing books! I HAVE NOT finished these, but I AM working on: Nancy Drew and the Mysterious Footsteps in the Attic, TJ goes camping, and The Boxcar Children and the Giant Iceberg. If someone is interested, here are the descriptions:
The Mysterious Footsteps in the Attic
Nancy Drew's friend, George Fayne, has a very old attic. At night, George's mother hears footsteps in the attic! She asks Nancy for help, and Nancy's on the case. Meanwhile, she struggles to help her father with a smugglers case. She has to find out where the smuggler is hiding what he's stolen! Is there some connection? Find out when you read Nancy Drew and the Mysterious Footsteps in the Attic!!
TJ Goes Camping
TJ is going to go camping! But when they are slowed down by a storm, he thinks he'll never get there. And then, he misses out on the nature walk! Thinking He'll never get to go on it, he sneaks out at night to tour himself on the nature walk! He sees an odd bird, and chases it into the woods. Soon the bird got away. He tries to find the way back to camp, but he can't. Lost and alone, he tries to make a hut, but soon falls asleep. What will happen to him? Find out when you read TJ Goes Camping!!
The Giant Iceburg
The Boxcar Children are in Alaska! They all have fun until their love for adventures is stirred. They hear an old folktale that a priceless amount of gold was frozen in a HUGE iceberg, called the Goldenberg. Then, in their boat, they almost crash into what they think is the Goldenberg. Is the GIANT hunk of ice really the Goldenberg? Find out when you read The Boxcar Children and the Giant Iceberg.
